See the exhibition
as it tours the country

FOR ONE WEEK ONLY

The In the Line of Duty exhibition is on show in Canberra from 27 September to 1 October 2010 at the Charles Sturt University Campus conference centre on the corner of Kings Avenue and Blackall St, Barton. ACT.

Policing in Australia since 1788 - In the Line of Duty

Never before has the story of Australian policing
been told as a national story.

In the line of duty is a timeline of important moments in police history presented through documents, images and objects held in police archives and museums around the country.
The exhibition's creation coincided with the Dedication of the National Police Memorial in 2006, constructed to commemorate those officers killed on duty.

Remembrance Day services

Held annually on 29 September

Police Remembrance Day Services provide an opportunity for serving and retired police members, their families and the public to honour the memory of officers who have given their lives in the line of duty.
